We just got back from a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It was a blast. I had been on this cruise twice before and my expectations of Mexico were low, but I was pleasantly surprised. This was Sophia's first cruise. We would have gone sooner, but had to wait until she turned six months. This was my 30+ cruise. I need to write down all of the ships I have been on so I have a solid number. lol!
>>>>>>>>>>>>> before and after the tequila shots.. lol!
Sophia had a great time on the ship. She only cried once... and that was because she woke up in the dark cabin all alone... my mom was on the balcony and thought she could hear Sophia, but between the sound of the ocean and the closed door she couldn't. Sophia was a little celebrity on the ship. Seriously, we were stopped constantly so people could comment about her hair or her cute personality. We couldn't eat a meal without people doing drive bys or staring. It was crazy!! One day we were in Cabo San Lucas and Sophia had a hat on. Some people stopped to admire her. They asked us "ohhhh have you seen that little baby with all the red hair and the pig tails?". I think they were embarrassed when we revealed that she was "that" baby. lol! I didn't like all of the attention, but Sophia revelled in it. She is now adjusting to being at home with little ol' me. haha.
We enjoyed the ports in Mexico. We didn't do too much, but shopped a little and had a margarita here and there. I can't wait until Sophia is older so that she can join me in the shore excursions.
