Las Vegas!

There are two concerts in this world that I love and I am willing to pay to see, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds and Garth Brooks. Well, a few months ago I found out that Dave and Tim were playing in Vegas and I found a ticket down to Vegas for less than $50 on Southwest Air. I was on my way! My mom and Sophia ended up joining me at the last minute. We stayed at the Flamingo on the strip. It was an average hotel, a bit run down but in a great location. Sophia ended up being sick almost the entire time we were in Vegas. I got sick on the way to Vegas... yay, the first time being sick in a plane! lol
I bought a ticket to the show just one day before we left. A kid from Chicago was supposed to go with his friend, but his friend backed out last minute. I bought the ticket from the Warehouse, so it was face value. Woo hoo! The concert was amazing. I love love love Dave! And seriously, anytime you get two guys on the stage with guitars, good music and zero gimmicks, you can't beat it! I had sixth row tickets, so that was a plus too! =)
We did other things while we were in Vegas... i.e. shopped a ton. We also checked out the flowers at the Bellagio, they were fantastic! My cousin Stephanie and her husband Dave visited us at the hotel and met us for lunch at Ra. Yum yum. Oh, and right before we left for the airport we convinced Sophia to sit on Santa's lap. She wasn't quite ready, as she doesn't really know about Santa Clause yet. Poor kid!
I just love Vegas at Christmas time! We are definitely going to make it a tradition to go down there this time of year. =)
